Summary of June 2022

On this post I give a summary of June 2022 by looking at the most important factors that I pay attention to around my lifestyle.

My cycle

My follicle phase was slightly longer this month which made my total cycle land on 32 days. This is still within my normal range though. My luteal phase was around 12 days which is good as well. Making sure that the cycle works as it should are one of the most important tools we as women have, as a base to tell us whether we are in good health or not. That is why I plan my lifestyle around my cykel.

Hot flashes and head aches

Hot flashes and head aches / migraines was thrown my way also this cycle along with mast cell activation and sensitivity to histamine. But most of all I got my first bout of Covid-19, to read more about my experiences about that you can go hit..

Focus on building more muscles

I still have focus on building more muscles as this is one of the most important factors for vitality and an optimal long-term health. It is important for all of us but especially for women. As we lose our cycle, we also lose estrogen. Estrogen is anabolic just as testosterone and is a key part of being able to build muscle. I train not only for today but just as much for tomorrow. The older I get the harder it will be for me to build muscle. So making sure to “bulk up” now is my strategy to keep my vitality for many more years to come.

I have completed another round of my core program over four weeks and for the most part I increased my weights and total volume which I am very happy about as this means I am getting stronger.

Min fastande livsstil

I continued this month with more of a time restricted eating to my lifestyle. This in order to be able to build more muscles. On average I fasted 18 hours and I collected 340 hours in total. On average I did not eat enough calories though so I will make sure I eat more next cycle.

Sleep and recovery

Looking at my average HRV I sit on 55 on average which I think was mostly impacted by my Covid-19 infection. But I will of course adjust my lifestyle and make sure I get the recovery I need if I see a negative trend.

Digestion

I am still searching for answers to my digestion issues. By reducing histamine foods I have less gas so that is at least some progress at least but I am still bloated on a daily basis.
